In this study, a novel berberine derivative featuring a substituted o-diaminobenzene moiety at the 9-position, strategically linked via an oxadiazole and alkyl chain, was rationally designed and synthesized based on the structural framework of histone deacetylase 6 (HDAC6) inhibitors. To elucidate its therapeutic potential, a comprehensive evaluation was conducted, integrating molecular docking, molecular dynamics simulations, and cytotoxicity assays. These studies collectively aimed to assess its binding affinity, stability, and anticancer efficacy, positioning this derivative as a promising HDAC6 inhibitor with potential therapeutic implications.

The study used two classical models to analyze the infrared (IR) absorption of NaCl. The reduced mass linear diatomic model (RMLDM) showed no activity in IR, while linear diatomic model (LDM) suggests weak IR absorption. LDM combines elements of classical and quantum physics to obtain accurate estimates for IR absorption.
